Various phases can be distinguished in the development of agribusiness complexes: an incubation phase, an inception phase, a stabilization phase and a destabilization phase. The influence of the individual factors appears to decrease in proportion to the stage of development of the complex. However, both in the past and at present, farmers attempt individually as well as collectively to increase their influence.
