Phenol growth kinetics of heterogeneous populations in a two-stage continuous culture system

Phenol growth kinetics of heterogeneous populations in a two-stage continuous culture system

Journal Water Pollution Control Federation 58(4): 326-332

The biokinetic constants of heterogeneous populations metabolizing phenol were investigated using a two-stage continuous-culture system and with cells acclimated to high steady-state concn of phenol. Significantly higher growth and phenol-utilization rates were obtained with the latter.
