In tests of Ciano 67, Orofen, Pitic 62 and Mv15, Pitic 62 gave the highest percentages of anthers responding to culture and of calluses per cultured anther, while Mv15 gave the lowest. Ciano 67 gave the best plant regeneration from haploid calluses.
