Data on 74 rabbit breeding establishments in Venezuela, with mainly New Zealand White and Californian rabbits, were analysed. For farms with <30, 31-250 and >250 breeding the number of litters per year per averaged 4.2+or-0.88, 5.89+or-1.35 and 6.0+or-1.49. The av. number of rabbits weaned per litter was 6 at all farms.
