Resistance, susceptibility and accumulation of glyceollins I-III in soybean-organs inoculated with Phytophthora megasperma f.sp. glycinea

Resistance, susceptibility and accumulation of glyceollins I-III in soybean-organs inoculated with Phytophthora megasperma f.sp. glycinea

Physiological and Molecular Pathology 29(2): 227-237

Reactions to inoculation with zoospores of race 1 of the pathogen were determined in roots, hypocotyls and cotyledons of etiolated and green soyabean seedlings and in leaves of the cultivars Harosoy (rps1) and Harosoy 63 (Rps1). Gene-specific resistance was demonstrated in all organs tested, except for cotyledons of etiolated seedlings.
