Early-maturing potatoes Kufri Chandramukhi given 0-180 kg N, 0-100 kg P2O5 and 50-100 kg K2O/ha in different combinations gave the highest tuber yields of 20.2 t/ha with 120 kg N + 100 kg P2O5 + 100 kg K2O/ha compared with 8.2 t without NPK; this treatment also gave the highest net returns and the highest cost:benefit ratio.
