Abstract
Caucasian and North Caucasus Mutton-Wool ewes were mated with Polwarth, Merino Longwool, Stavropol, Caucasian and Ile-de-France rams. For female offspring of the 5 types of mating, body weight at 18 months of age averaged 40.0, 44.8, 39.6, 40.7 and 50.1 kg resp., fleece weight 4.52, 4.83, 4.62, 4.65 and 4.50 kg, clean wool weight 2.48, 2.59, 2.40, 2.35 and 2.8 kg, and the percentage of femalefemale with wool quality 64s-70s 93.0, 55.0, 99.0, 97.0 and 0.
