Review of the syntaxonomy of ruderal plant communities of Bratislava

A syntaxonomical overview of ruderal plant communities of Bratislava is presented. There are 45 associations (and communities without specific syntaxonomical rank) listed. Within those 23 subassociations and 19 variants are distinguished. The subassociations Potentillo argenteae-Artemisietum absinthii linarietosum genistifoliae, Dauco-Picridetum echietosum vulgaris, Anthriscetum trichospermae typicum and A. t. parietarietosum are described as new. The characteristics of the communities will follow in coming papers. An outline of environmental conditions of the studied territory is given, too.
