Indian Phytopathology 39(4): 565-567



A low incidence (1-4%) was recorded in 3 samples by dry seed inspection and 1-8% in 8 samples estimated by the standard blotter method. Infection was deep-seated, with microsclerotia and inter- as well as intracellular mycelium occurring in the seed coat and endosperm, particularly at the micropylar end.
