Rice quality as a function of harvest time and moisture content during processing in the mill

In tests on 6 rice cv., the most whole grains after processing were obtained when harvesting occurred 40 or, in some cases, 45 days after flowering. A moisture content of 11-13% was optimum for the production of whole grains.
