Rice varietal testing in the rainfed lowlands of south and southeast Asia



Progress in rainfed lowland rice: 77-101



Results are summarized from trials in 1979-83 in yield and observational nurseries (where maximum sustained water depth does not exceed 50 cm) in south and south-east Asian countries. Varieties with tolerance of drought or submergence, and resistance to major pests and diseases were identified.
