, : Simulation of host-parasite relationships in the system Proteocephalus exiguus - Coregonus albula. Trudy Zoologicheskogo Instituta, Akademiya Nauk SSSR 161: 63-72

The seasonal dynamics in P. exiguus populations in C. albula in Lakes Urosozero, Rindozero and Vendyurskoe in the Karelian region of the USSR were analyzed. Negative binomial distribution was the most suitable model for representing population numbers in most cases and was evaluated during the development of infection within the fish host.
