In trials with the Pusa Red, ZnSO4 or FeSO4, each at 25 or 50 kg/ha, was applied to the soil, or at 0.5 or 1.0% to the foliage. Bulb yields were highest (17.1 t/ha) with the soil application of Zn or Fe at the highest rate.
