Studies on tomato quality. Methodological approach and effect of soilless culture systems

Studies on tomato quality. Methodological approach and effect of soilless culture systems

Soilless culture: 361-387

Results of experiments carried out at Alenya and Avignon (France) between 1979 and 1981 are presented, including methods used and interpretation. Four growing media were compared. Generally, fruit development and ripening were similar in plants grown in soil (control) and in the different growing media tested.
