Vines of all the cultivars were pruned on the simple bilateral cordon system, with 14-18 buds/plant (35 000-45 000 buds/ha), depending on cv., and the bilateral cordon system with 2 buds/spur, with 28-36 buds/plant (70 000-90 000 buds/ha). The pruning system with the higher number of buds gave the higher yield of grapes, whereas grape quality response depended on the Data on sugar contents and acidity are tabulated.
