The effects of embryo morphology and embryo quality on conception rate in Holstein-Friesian cows

The effects of embryo morphology and embryo quality on conception rate in Holstein-Friesian cows

Korean Journal of Animal Sciences 28(8): 521-526

Embryos were non-surgically recovered from superovulated donors 6-8 days after oestrus, and were examined to determine stage of development and quality (excellent, good, fair and poor). Donor and recipient were Holstein-Friesian cows and heifers. Embryos were transferred to synchronized donors surgically or non-surgically. Pregnancy was determined 60 days after transfer by rectal palpation.
