The vegetation and flora of the south Naru area (Madang Province), Papua New Guinea

A survey of the major forest types showed that they are typical of the lowland tropical rain forest of the infertile sedimentary foothills of the N. coast of New Guinea, which are dominated by Intsia palembanica, I. bijuga and Pometia pinnata.
