Therapeutic efficacy of Berenil and Imizol against experimental Babesia canis infection in dogs

Single treatments of Berenil (diminazene) at 10 mg/kg im and Imidazol (imidocarb) at 6 mg/kg im successfully controlled experimental infection with B. canis in 2 groups of 8 splenectomized dogs. Following treatment, Hb, PCV and total erythrocyte count values were increased.
