Three notes on fertilizer subsidy removal in Bangladesh



Fertilizer pricing policy in Bangladesh: 413-446



The three notes concern the political implications of fertilizer pricing, its distributional effects and the relationship between agricultural credit and fertilizer use. It is argued that the price for fertilizer and the level of subsidy in Bangladesh need to be decided within the context of the overall policy of agricultural production.
