Time of release of oxfendazole from an oxfendazole pulse-release bolus

The actual release rates of oxfendazole by a new pulse release bolus formulation were investigated in 4 groups of 6 calves grazing adjacent paddocks. Two groups of calves received the bolus at turnout and 2 other groups acted as controls. Blood samples collected from the calves were analyzed for oxfendazole and oxfendazole sulphate to detect each of the 5 pulse releases. The pulse intervals had a range of 16 to 23 days.
