In 1983, 144 herbicide treatments were evaluated against roadside brush at 28 forest locations in 4 southern states. Assessment in 1985 showed that combinations of 0.5-1 gal/acre of either Tordon 101 (picloram + 2,4-D) or Tordon K (picloram) in mixtures with Garlon 4 (triclopyr) gave the best control. Applications between May and Sep. were the most constant.
