Treatment of vegetable seeds with fungicides. I. Brassicas, radish and winter radish

Treatment of vegetable seeds with fungicides. I. Brassicas, radish and winter radish

Sbornik UVTIZ, Zahradnictvi 14(1): 49-58

In a comparison of 15 fungicide treatments, the best results in all respects were shown by Rovral 50 w.p. (iprodione) + Ridomil Z 72 w.p. (metalaxyl + zineb) at 3 + 3 g/kg seed. In 5 commercial trials the treatments increased mean yields of brassicas (cabbage, Savoy cabbage, cauliflower and kohlrabi) by 28.86%, compared with untreated controls, and in 2 trials by 11.5%, compared with the standard treatment, Hermal L 50 (thiram + lindane).
