Trypsin inhibitor activity at various stages of development in mutants of Vicia picta Fisch. et Mey

Trypsin inhibitor activity (TIA) during development was studied in seedlings and in the green matter of mutants (with higher or lower TIA than normal) and in control plants. In the controls there was a significant decrease of 40-44% in TIA by the stage of 10-day-old seedlings, with a tendency for TIA to increase on the 15th day. In mutant seedlings TIA followed a different pattern.
