Work difficulty factors, time distribution and productivity of forest site preparation with disc ploughs and wing ploughs

Work difficulty factors of (a) disc ploughs with hydraulically loaded discs and (b) wing ploughs drawn by crawler tractors were studied by the comparative time study method. Time distribution and productivity were investigated by a follow-up study with automatic time recorders from these machines and also from (c) non-hydraulic disc ploughs and (d) wing ploughs drawn by wheeled tractors.
