Details are given of the design (illustrated) and main specifications of the IZ-8, a mobile unit developed in the USSR for the continuous comminution of slash (up to 8 cm diam.) to produce livestock fodder additives. The IZ-8 is installed on a 2-wheel trailer and is operated by a 2-man crew.
