A note on effect of varying levels of nitrogen and phosphorus on yield attributes and yield of soybean

In 1985, 3 soyabean cultivars gave av. seed yields of 0.54 and 0.59 t/ha with 20 and 40 kg N/ha, resp., compared with 0.18 t without fertilizers. Yields were decreased to 0.51 t with 60 kg N/ha. Increasing P2O5 rates from 40 to 60 and 80 kg/ha decreased yields from 0.68 to 0.50 and 0.46 t, resp.
