A note on influence of gibberellic acid on seed germination and vigour of seedlings in Karonda (Carissa carandas L.)

The seeds, treated with GA3 at 25-100 p.p.m. for 24 h, were planted and germination was assessed 43, 50 and 58 days later. Germination after 43 days was 0.4% in the control and 1.6-6.8% in the treated seeds. On the 58th day control germination was 49.2% and in seeds treated with GA3 at 25 p.p.m. it was 67.0%.
