Haryana Journal of Horticultural Sciences 17(3-4): 207-209

In 1984, leaves of ber (Ziziphus mauritiana) Umran heavily infected by P. eupyrena were collected in Haryana, India. The viability of the fungus was determined in soil and in the lab. The fungus remained viable on diseased leaves for 6 months but viability decreased gradually every month. Viability was much higher in leaves stored under field conditions.
