A note on sensitivity of soybean varieties to shattering after maturity



Journal of Oilseeds Research 6(1): 168-171



Four varieties were assessed for seed shedding at maturity and 5, 10, 15 and 20 days later. The yellow-seeded varieties JS72-74 and Punjab 1 showed smaller decreases in yield due to shattering than those shown by the black-seeded varieties JS76-205 and a local variety.
