A note on the incidence and pathology of Homologaster paloniae in sheep and goats



Indian Veterinary Journal 65(4): 350-351



The caeca of 6 (5.0%) of 120 goats and 4 (3.3%) of 120 sheep, slaughtered in India, contained H. paloniae. An average of 10 flukes/animal were recovered. Infection was not recorded in animals under a year old, and was only observed between November and February.
