A note on the occurrence of pseudophyllid tapeworm Bothridium pithonis, Blainville, 1824 in the Indian rock python, Python molurus

A routine examination of a faecal sample from a female rock python at the Madras Snake Park, India, revealed the presence of yellowish, thin-shelled, operculate ova, 73 x 58 micro m in size. The python died within a week.
