A note on the response of growing pigs to supplemental biotin

A note on the response of growing pigs to supplemental biotin

Animal Production 50(1): 195-197

The response of pigs to supplemental biotin (500 .mu.g/kg diet) was studied in a growth trial from 15 to 88 kg live weight. Food:gain ratio was significantly improved during the grower phase and there was a tendency for improvement in the starter and finisher phases. There was also a tendency towards improved carcass grading.
