A novel approach to the strategic deworming of cattle



Agri-Practice 9(4): 29-32



A technique for the treatment and control of helminth parasitism [Haemanchus, Ostertagia, Trichostrongylus, Cooperia, Nematodirus, Bunostomium and Oesophagostomum] is evaluated, involving the use of a topically applied levamisole. The results of safety trials are presented, and use of the product is explained for feedlot, dairy and beef cattle.
