A pilot plant design and performance for biomethanation of non-edible oil cakes

A pilot plant design and performance for biomethanation of non-edible oil cakes

Energy, UK 14(11): 771-772

A process is described involving a very stable and efficient microbial consortium for the anaerobic digestion of and biogas generation from non-edible grade oil cakes alone or in mixtures with other substrates such as tobacco leaf waste or willow dust (from textile mills).
