Accidental poisoning with agricultural chemicals

Accidental poisoning with agricultural chemicals

Medical Journal of Australia 150(3): 167-168

The author queries A.E. Gale's earlier hearsay report (see Medical Journal of Australia, 5 September 1988) of a case of accidental poisoning by benomyl (a fungicide which Christophers points out is of too low a mammalian toxicity to have caused poisoning in man) in support of the argument that Australian cases of accidental poisoning by pesticides in general appear to be under-reported in the literature.
