, : African human trypanosomiasis in North Benin. Preliminary serological survey. Bulletin de la Societe de Pathologie Exotique et de ses Filiales 81(3 bis): 513-521

Blood samples from 92 people from 4 localities in the Province of Atacora, Benin (one in the Tanguieta District and 3 in the Materi District), were analysed. IgG antibodies were detected by the IFAT in 40 (43.5%) and by the ELISA in 36 (39.1%) of the sera; IgM antibodies were detected in 9 (9.8%) and 8 (8.7%) of the sera by the 2 tests respectively.
