, : Age at first combing in Cheghu breed of Indian pashmina goats. Indian Journal of Animal Sciences 58(10): 1229-1230

Data on 610 goats were analysed. Age at 1st combing averaged 11.69+or-0.16 months, and were younger than at 1st combing (11.47+or-0.46 vs. 12.01+or-0.46 months). Kids born in the wet season were combed earlier than those born in other seasons (P<0.01).
