Age-related flight and reproductive performance of the light brown apple moth, Epiphyas postvittana

, : Age-related flight and reproductive performance of the light brown apple moth, Epiphyas postvittana. Entomologia Experimentalis et Applicata 54.2: 109-115

The relationship between flight activity, reproduction and age of the tortricid Epiphyas postvittana was studied using tethered flight assays at 23-25 degrees C and 40-50% RH. Flights began on the day of emergence, peaking on days 4 and 5 in females and on day 5 in males, and lasted for 9-10 days.
