, : Agglutination of yeast cells by canine strains of Escherichia coli. Agglutination von Hefezellen durch E coli Stamme vom Hund: 91

Out of a total of 53 strains of E. coli, 32 of 33 from dogs with diarrhoea and 11 of 20 from healthy dogs agglutinated Saccharomyces cerevisae and Candida albicans. Agglutination was not prevented by first heating the yeast cells to 70-90 degrees C.
