Aggregate area response study through simultaneous equation system approach

, : Aggregate area response study through simultaneous equation system approach. Narendra Deva Journal of Agricultural Research 2(2): 103-111

The study examined, on an all-India basis, for the period 1960/61-1980/81, structural relationships within cropping systems, and the impact of change in price on the crop structure. A system of 6 major crops was examined: sugar cane, wheat, gram, rice, maize and jowar (sorghum). Five of these are major feed grain crops, two in the Kharif and two in the rabi season, with sugar cane an annual crop.
