Part II contains 25 short papers on cropping systems in relation to maximizing productivity and sustainability. The emphasis is on horticultural and plantation crops, and topics include breeding strategies, new crops, watershed management, soil testing, rainfall forecasting, dry farming, and descriptions of various types of multiple cropping systems.
