Agricultural extension plays an important role in the process of agricultural development, acting as a link between farmers and research centres. Some aspects of the agricultural extension system in Egypt are presented and consideration extends to the relationship with research centres. The integration of extension work with the village cooperative is an essential feature of agricultural extension work in Egypt.
