The tasks of GDR experts in agricultural law during the creation of a developed socialist society are discussed. The grounding of a Marxist-Leninist agricultural legal discipline in the GDR goes back to Reiner Arlt who, with others, laid down the legal principles on which agricultural production cooperatives (LPG) and land law were based.
