Analysis of published information on reproductive efficiency of cattle in tropical Mexico



Veterinaria Mexico 19(1): 71-72



On the basis of data published in Mexico in 1970-86 on an unspecified number of cattle, it was concluded that age at puberty, 1st service, 1st conception and 1st calving of cows in tropical areas averaged 17.2, 24.5, 25.9 and 35.3 months resp., and the lifetime calf production averaged 3.4.
