Breeding value of some morphologial characters in winter rye plants

In Voskhod 2 and 2 hybrid populations with dominant short straw, the breeding value of habit, extent of waxy bloom, position of the 2nd leaf relative to the stem at heading and position of the ear at wax ripeness was studied by means of cloning to differentiate individual plants.
