United States Patent (US 4 804 552): 8



A liquid milk product, e.g. skim milk, is heated to <more or =>160 degrees F for <less or =>30 min, cooled to <50 degrees F and subjected to pressurized CO2 until there are <more or =>1.5 vol. dissolved CO2. The carbonated product can be flavoured, then is packaged and refrigerated.
