Chemical composition and technological properties of the milk of Simmental cows and their crossbreds with Red-and-White Holsteins



Povysh effektiv kormleniya i razvedeniya sel' khoz zhivotnykh: 14-20



Crossbreds had significantly lower values than Russian Simmentals (RS) in respect of the percentages of protein, casein, dry matter, calcium and phosphorus in milk. For milk fat percentage, 1/4- to superscript 3/4-crossbreds had lower values by 0.5-0.36.
