Compaction of whole grains with fines

Compaction of whole grains with fines

Paper American Society of Agricultural Engineers (88-6536): 12

The compressibility of shelled maize, wheat and soyabeans when mixed with broken kernels of the same grain was determined. Samples were prepared with 0, 5, 10 and 15% fines material and pressures of 0-103 kPa applied to each of 5 replications.
