Comparative analysis of restriction fragment length polymorphism of casein genes in cattle

Comparative analysis of restriction fragment length polymorphism of casein genes in cattle

Molekul mekhanizmy genet protsessov: 7 Vses simp, Moskva, 27-30 marta, 1990: Tez dokl: 55

In Bestuzhev, Russian Black Pied, Kholmogor and Hereford cows, restriction fragment length polymorphism was found for alpha s1-, beta - and kappa -casein, using cDNA probes for the respective genes. The extent of the polymorphism depended on the particular restriction enzyme used.
