Comparative studies on the absorption of enzymic protein hydrolysates on the small intestine of rats. 4. The absorption of tryptic, thermitase and tryptic-thermitase hydrolysates of a faba bean protein isolate compared with an equimolar mixture of free amino acids

Nahrung 29(1): 59-67

Tryptic, thermitase and tryptic-thermitase faba bean protein hydrolysates as well as their equimolar mixture of amino acids were perfused through proximal and distal parts of the intestine (10 cm in length) of non-narcotized rats. Total amino acid concentration of the perfused solution was 50 mM.
